Inhabiting Future Cities: Events of the Future.

This project is based in the old city or 'Pol' areas of Ahmedabad. The project is a spin-off or a result of a timeline which predicts that around the year 2050 the pol area (Ahmedabad old city) has become an open and satisfied community who take pride in owning heritage homes. Small businesses flourish within their communities.
In order to create work opportunities, promote tourism and create incentives for residents to stay, the government decided to promote the old city as a venue for events to promote culture and heritage.
As a result in a few years, Ahmedabad becomes a hub for events like world peace conventions, international music festivals and events such as the one I have chosen to work on. 
As a result, the event “Blast off to Mars” was created. One of the venues of the events is Ahmedabad old city which is now famous for its rich heritage which makes it ideal for a cultural exchange.
The entire event celebrates technology and the culture of Gujarat coming together.The event is called “Blast off to mars” here on Earth as it is an opportunity fo the people to live and experience life on Mars as it is.
